We are enjoying your timeline book so much! I'm home schooling my 11 year old and 10 yr. old twin sons, so we do it together. We're using Truthquest History (GREAT!) and reading lots of books together. Each of the children has his/her own timeline book, so as I read aloud they browse through the pictures and get so excited when they find a familiar name! Out come the scissors and glue sticks, and in goes another entry in their books. At first I tried to encourage neatness and my idea of "perfection" so that each of the children could treasure his book forever. Luckily I got over that, and now I realize that messy 10 year old boy books are a treasure all their own! Thank you for providing such a fine resource for us to use!

I encourage you, if you are even considering buying this lovely timeline, BUY IT!!! It is wonderful!! My girls and I just drooled and drooled over them when they arrived today. I know this is going to be something my children will enjoy for a lifetime.

I intend on ordering two more to have on hand for when my younger children become old enough to do them. I know I postponed getting this timeline for a long time, but once you think about buying timeline figures, paper, ink, time, ugh - it is a no brainer. And the quality of this timeline is fabulous! The figures are the correct size and are crisp and clear, ready to cut and paste into the book.
