It would be a great family project to include family ancestors and family history into the timeline. How interesting to see who was living when the Wright Brothers were flying their first plane, or how old Grandpa was when TV was invented. It would be a family treasure to have recorded a timeline comparison of the lives of the student's parents and grandparents. So, Grandpa was in the war and Grandma was still in high school? Dad was in first grade when Mom was born?
