When
studying a war, such as the War Between the States, there
is an incredible amount of information to fit on 5 years of
space in a timeline. Of course, the solution of adding two
pages for each war can hardly be enough either, but hopefully
if will be an advantage to the student to have more room to
condense the main events.
There is a very faint map on the background
of each page for the student to reference (with arrows) after
study has been made using a clear map. The maps are meant
to be written over.
Only maps of wars that
the United States has been involved in have been included.
Otherwise this book would be too huge to carry and totally
unaffordable. There have always been wars and rumors of wars.
To begin the section is a page entitled "War"
is a page showing the importance of war to peace, but also
the pain that war causes the mother left without her son.
